Overview

Ferdi works tirelessly as an auto mechanic in Istanbul, saving every coin to build a modest future with his lover, Zeynep (Filiz Taçbaş), a seamstress supporting her impoverished family. Bound by deep affection but restricted by poverty, the young couple dreams of marriage, but relentless financial hardship keeps their goals frustratingly out of reach. As pressure mounts from Zeynep’s struggling family and local troublemakers intervene, forces conspire to tear them apart. Trapped by social prejudice, financial desperation, and heartbreaking obstacles, Ferdi and Zeynep are forced to confront the painful reality that their dreams of happiness may be slipping away forever.
