Overview

Cik Ayu Mee Sanggul is a Malaysian romantic comedy-drama about Ayu, a successful noodle entrepreneur and young widow who marries Akhtar, a divorced father, without initially being in love. She hopes to become a loving stepmother to his son, Uwais, who suffers from thalassemia. However, Akhtar's painful past, distrust of women, family conflicts and misunderstandings complicate their marriage, testing whether genuine love can grow from sacrifice.
